If an African American who knew little about designing on the web designed a sight and wanted that space to be The Place for 21st African American Thought and Culture on the web. It would probably look like this. I welcome you to Annu Universe where you can create and help create Annu you in yourself and  others today...

Let me first explain this page you see. It is an art work or collection of art works. I'm a self taught typographer and you will find that my own novels are quite colorful depictions both inside and out. This art is in keeping with the ancestral ways, bright, bold, daring depictions of human emotion what ever medium the artist finds as the canvas, whether a temple wall or flute, sax, drum, pen, brush, computer, or trumpet.

I would be remiss if I didn't explain the word Annu. It is quite simply the name of an ancient Egyptian city of wonder which was the seat of culture, science, and spirituality for three thousand years. Somewhere during that time Annu was held in such high reverence by the ancients that it became their word for heaven. There is no way that I hope to duplicate those efforts here. I only hope that we may dig deeper in conversation and expression to find ourselves Annu.

In closing, I've found wisdom on the net and I've found foolishness on the net. I hope for this to be a sight dedicated to the upliftment of African America through our culture and thought. If the way is opened there will be a representation of all of what we are to be found here and powered by you. My vision is for this to become what other comparable Black sights could be, what Facebook and My Space can never. Using meager funds, artistic connections and love, I hope I've given you a place to spend your innernet time creatively and productively. Click the logos on this page or their corresponding links. Set up user accounts at the differing parts of the Universe. Enjoy and explore. This is just starting. I hope that it may grow unto....
